This is the website of the Oranges and Lemons Toddler Group, based in Okehampton, Devon.

All Parents, Grandparents or Carers and Children are welcome from new born to five years. Its only £1.50 per session, with your first session being free. There are lots of friendly people to meet and loads to do. We have hot water, jugs and plastic spoons for any food/milk that needs to be warmed up, and we are breast feeding friendly. We have changing mats and child toilet training seats but we do ask for any nappies to be taken home with you for health and safety reasons.

Being a parent and toddler group we must reinforce that parent's are solely responsible for their children and their behaviour and that during craft sessions parents must supervise their own children at all times....As we all know paint or glue with an unaccompanied child equals disaster! (We do supply plastic aprons for the children and all paint, glue and pens are washable and non-toxic.)

We are open from 9.30am until 11.30pm on Fridays throughout the year. We try and encourage parents and children to help tidy away the toys after each session, as this promotes responsability. If you ever feel like lending a hand to open up and set up then give us a call or just turn up as and when you are ready! Any extra help is welcomed with open arms!!!

Something to do...
Craft Sessions on Wednesdays, ranging from play dough, biscuit making, sticking, and painting.We try and offer seasonal crafts such as at Easter, Mother's and Father's Days and Christmas, to name a few but if you remember a special date feel free to ask a commitee member about any craft ideas for it a few weeks in advance and we will try our best to accomadate it.

Drawing on Fridays, Plenty of paper and washable colouring pens to encourage the imagination and to develop fine motor skills!

We have a whole range of musical instruments for you and your children to play with, so feel free to sing, dance and make some noise!

Something to eat...
Fresh and dried fruit, biscuits and sugar free squash for all children (lidded beakers are available), and a hot cup of tea or coffee (with a sneaky biscuit), for their guardian. As regular visitors to Oranges and Lemons we suggest a donation of your favourate biscuits to share (or the ones on the best offer in the loccal supermarket!)

A place to play...
We have a very big, clean, open space for running about or playing on bikes and trikes...
There are loads of toys, puzzles and books for the older children too.
We now have a soft play area which is ideal for younger babies (and is safe from toddlers and bikes) as well as lots of activity toys that will entertain and stimulate.

A place to chat...
We are a friendly toddler group, always looking to expand and bring you and your children a fun packed stimulating morning or just a place to have a good chat, or a moan about anything that is on your mind...like those sleepless nights or terrible tantrums!

You will always find a warm welcome, because everyone is always welcome at Oranges and Lemons toddler group.

If you or your child has special needs we are more than happy to accommodate you in anyway we can.Just give us a call and we can make sure in advance that you will feel right at home!

We can even ensure that special eating circumstances are taken into consideration during regular sessions and special events like our Christmas Party.
